Wax models are cast as an intermediate step in reproducing the artist's original work in bronze.  The wax model must reproduce all of the structure and detail in the original.  We use only the finest micro-crystalline wax and take utmost care in casting, chasing and sprueing to preserve detail and avoid adding anything that is not in the original.
